Excellent apps. Very useful. Great to have all my recipes on hand. Simple and no-fuss. When Will it be available for iPad ?

When is the update comming out?

Like the setup but still waiting for update to enter recipes as promised

Normally I wouldnt write a bad review. If I dont like an app, I just delete it. I mean, for the $1.99 that i paid, is it really worth my time, critiquing an app ? In this case, YES. On the surface it looks like a pretty straight forward app, and easy to use. Dont be fooled: nothing could be further from the truth. It is unweildy at best and down-right annoying at worst. Adding a recipe is a chore. You are forced to enter a measurement, whether you want to or not (example: potato. In order to save potato in my recipe, i must add a measurement. Should i choose between Cans, Cups, Packages, Pound, Slices, Tablespoon, Teaspoon or Units ? What if i dont want to choose any of these, or want to say simply, "small" or "medium" - or want to use Metric ? Well - too bad. You cant.) You also cant manually order your recipes or categories. The list of flaws goes on. This is probably the worst app of the 50 or 60 so apps Ive downloaded so far. Just my opinion, feel free to waste your money and see for yourself.

Its a bit too long to write a recipe. Email should be integrated with the address book. But nice app, wait for updates!!

Finally ! , some people with sense , a receipt application with many receipts . Thanks guys ! , you could also add some Asian receipts and as time goes on u could add a wider range , for starters well done ! .

Only 20 recipes or so. No search. Wouldnt have paid if I knew that.

Should have been a free app! Bought and already erased!

Just bought this app in anticipation of the new version. I hope it will work as expected. Also, I think it will be great if they can add a feature where I can select a list of recipes and create a grocery list.

The ONLY reason I bought this is because the description said I could add my own recipes. There is no such function. If you create an application and then lie about functions in the description, you should be removed from the app store. Shame on you.

Right now this app is barebones and just a little more than useless. However, I have been in touch with the developer and some well desired changes and additions are coming in the near future, so dont delete it just yet. What am I saying? Go ahead. Delete it. Once you pay for an app you dont have to pay again. So you can reinstall whenever you want.

I have gotten 4 updates for "Blocks Classic" in the time that I have waited for this app to update... dont tell me it is Apples fault either. Hurry the f up!

This app is highly functional. I love having the ability to create and customize my own recipe categories, types, and instructions. This application provides the versatility and functionality that separates it from similar apps. Also, think outside the box. Recipes allows categorized step-by-step instructions and photo accompaniment. Why limit to food recipes? Compile your recipes for photoshop, creative writing, tuning musical instruments, mixing concrete, video game cheat codes... Thanks EBSolutions!

Just when I thought I was going to have to write my own app I find this little gem.......w/room to grow:) Im giving a generous 4 stars because EBSolutions anticipated the need and got it to market. Im hoping future vesions will support nutrition info (calories, fat, carbs, protein etc) but for now Im thrilled to have found this app that so brilliantly supports custom recipes. Thankyou!

Love this app! Does exactly what I wanted it to. If you cannot figure something out...check the manual! ;-) Super easy!

Im happy for the most part with the flexibility of this recipe program. I would definitley download it again if it came right down to it. A couple of suggestions. 1. When adding ingredients, it would be faster to start typing the ingredient in the box and have the box auto fill with the ingredient instead of having to use the roller menu. Also, if the ingredient was not found, it would be faster to have a plus sign right at the ingredient box that would add the new ingredient with the press of the plus sign, instead of having to search the roller and then add the ingredient and then search the roller again...Cumbersome. 2. The ability to look at the ingredient list under browse and check (need) next to each ingredient. That way I know what I have in the cupboard and what I need to get at the store. These additions would put this application right up there in the five star range for me.

Would be good if it worked properly. I can do everything it says exept create and delete old recipes. You can make new categories but cant make new recipes within the new catagory. Untill they hopefully update dont buy!!!

Updated review: No support, I contacted the developer and havent received a response, it has been 4 months. There are some bugs when editing the ingredients that can make using this app a pain. Again, it works as advertised and is nice to be able to input your own recipies without having to have an online account or share your own recipes, but it doesnt look like this app is supported any longer so dont expect any enhancements or bug fixes. Original review: First of all, if you dont know how to use the iPhone you shouldnt be writing reviews, second, Im not the developer, so flame me, not them. I purchased this software despite the bad ratings it had on a gamble that it offered what I hoped. Ultimately I wanted to be able to add my OWN recipies not ones from the web. This software does just that. For those of you who couldnt find it, to add a recipe go to the bottom of the list and touch the "+" sign to add a new recipe. Typing everything in takes a while, since the intelligent people at Apple designed a smartphone without the ability to copy and paste. It would be nice to be able to have a way to import into this, hint, hint, hint. The only design problem I noticed is that to scroll through the ingredients and recipes is kind of time consuming because you must use the roller control (like you have in the calendar) rather than the index control (like you have in the address book). This works fine for the measure since there are less than 10 - 20, but could take a while if there are > 30. Regardless, the bad ratings, in my opinion are unwarranted and with a couple of changes could be worth 5 stars for what it is designed for.
